To facilitate healing journeys and energetic processes, your first client is yourself and will always be. Healers work on themselves, raise their vibration, tune their fields to the highest light of creation and from this place, offer this healing vibration to others. Healers are never directly healing anyone but they do hold the energetic responsibility to expand and cleanse their vessel to receive and share this light. Healers must consciously choose and embrace the path of surrender, of holding an open heart, and trusting so they may open a field that receives the highest cosmic blessings and guidance. Healers hold the integrity required to hold a coherent, loving field.

Let’s talk about surrender more in depth. When healing yourself and guiding others, you must remember that it’s the divine who is guiding. You are simply the vessel to express and activate this process. Your mind and ego also play an important role such as in creating a safe space, delivering proper instruction and structure for the session, and a proactive experience for all. You are also connecting with the divine energy to tap into in your own intuition and read the energy of the room and of your clients in order to best support their process. Overall though, when the actual healing energy is flowing, it happens through trust and surrender. Allow the energy to flow through you. Surrender to your body’s wisdom and the magic unfolds. Trust deeply that when you’re meeting the divine, the divine delivers. Set the container, open the field and healing space, and after that get out of the way for the divine process to unfold.

To cleanse and heal yourself means to listen to the divine guidance flowing through your body. Do you need to fast? Drink some celery juice? Enjoy a comfort food? Do some physical exercise? Sleep? Practice yoga and meditation everyday? Say no to hanging out with that person?

Always take some time to care for yourself before giving to others. Listen deeply, as your body always knows best and is constantly seeking coherence.
